Discover the wild Spain

Do you fancy going to Spain for a holiday but this time you would like to experience something more than a lazy tanning in a crowded beach?

This could be your opportunity to change 180° the way how to savour your free time.

Views from the Sanctuary

Do not settle for less than a true taste of the Spanish land.

Discover the authentic España.

Wild. Sunny. And delicious.

There is a place in the South of Spain which breathes savage air and has a completely distinct light.

This part of the Iberian Peninsula is one of the favourite destinations even for Spanish travellers.

It’s rich, beautiful and has an incredible variety of landscapes.

Sometimes all you need is to travel to an amazing place away from home to discover where your own treasure is hidden. Just as it’s written in the famous novella of Paulo Coelho, a Nobel prize author of the brilliant story “The Alchemist”, who was inspired by this place to start and end his fiction here.

Welcome to the territory of Andalusia, dear traveller, also known as "Andalucía" in the native spanish.
Submerge your spirit into the barbaric origins and first inhabitants of Europe.

It’s smartly hidden from the eyes of fast paced tourists and expensive shopping centres. It happens to be almost a privilege to find it on the map and only a few locals know about this sanctuary.

But it’s right here. The oasis for a hungry soul. El Cerro Jabalcón.

The mystery of climbing this sacred mountain had started long time ago and it’s still a living tradition for the local community who ascend the last Sunday of the month of April and walk under the heat or freeze of the capricious rocky heights to commit to their promises.

La Romería de la Virgen de la Cabeza

According to the wikipedia definiton, Romería(Spanish) is a religious pilgrimage. The term comes from romero/romeiro, meaning those travelling towards Rome. It is a celebration that consists of a peregrination that ends at a sanctuary or hermitage.

You don't need to believe in "Virgen de la Cabeza" or be Christian or belong to any other religion in order to climb these hills, as long as you join the togetherness of the crowd soul you will be able to connect with the wild nature.

There is an unspoken secret and only when you personally embrace the sacred spirit of these rough mountains, you will discover the hidden magic of life. Completely barefoot.

I can personally only recommend you to embrace this adventure when you are visiting Spain during the spring season in Andalusia. It's an enriching opportunity for your body and mind.

This Andalusian region near Granada has also a lot of to offer to their visitors. From unbelievable rough almost desertic landscapes, traditional delicious food to original ways of life of the first inhabitants of Europe who used to protect themselves from the weather adversities and build their homes deep inside the white rocks and constructed amazing ecological cave houses which are now available for vacational stay and add an authentic touch of a wild holiday experience in Spain.

Go ahead. Travel a lot. Enjoy life and heal your soul.

Inspiring lies

So many times we keep digging deep to find the right answers but to the wrong questions.

If we find what we want to hear, we trust the source of information. And that way, we build our knowledge and self-confidence.

Until one day, a wrong question is placed and you might get the right answer. Usually this happens as an accident or something that was not meant to be.

No one likes a shock therapy but certainly it’s an interesting way to bring you to a different state of mind and understand things from other angles. That’s the power of a good question.

But the truth is that there is nothing 100% wrong. Even a stopped clock can show perfectly and accurately the right hour two times a day.

We spend our precious time asking and waiting for the answers as the time passes by.

Living in a society of overwhelming information; we cram our brains with useless things only to keep ourselves busy from doing what really matters, what really matters to you.

Out there are brilliant experts who can skilfully motivate you to live the life you would never imagine for yourself.

Keep away from them, they know what they do, but you might not.

Don’t do what you love to do, it’s treacherous.

Better do what must be done.

To make it more motivational, you can add to the previous statement:

“Before you die, better do what must be done." (Word counter: 2x do, 1x die, nothing about "think or ask yourself" or similar inspiring spam).

Call me better your enemy rather than your friend

They are people who will tell you what you want to hear.

And there are people who will tell you the truth.

The first group, probably you call them friends, and the second one, could be a very good adept for your hated enemy.

However, and how unpleasant could seem to you hear the truth of one person, give it a go, it's still a valuable different point of view.

You cannot be always right, because you simply can't, life is smarter than you.

The thing is to keep honest to what sounds really right to you, not what others think you should or should not do, think or say.

We are becoming a society of thousands of likes because we deeply need someone likes our creations, leisures, travels, activities, etc. That's why Facebook is so successful and addictive. You can get easily more and more of these Facebook friends.

And then you have the enemies, those who could save your dreams, the real ones and help you believe in the real change. These "special" friends will likely push you go further through new territories and understand new philosophies.

They would be frank about the nonsense of your point of view and mistaken attitudes.

They wouldn't tell you how amazing you are, if you are not.

The enemy is good to show you what you don't like about yourself, honestly because hurting feelings sometimes is simply necessary.

Sometimes your friend could be hidden in your worst enemy.
